CompetitionsThe Club runs a monthly competition on the first Tuesday of the month. Each competition has an Assigned subject and an Open subject. The Assigned subjects are given out at the beginning of the year, and provide a challenge for members to submit images shot specifically for the competition. The Open subjects are any images the member wants to submit for the competition. The Club competes with print and digital images, in color and in black & white. The images are judged numerically by a rotating panel of Club members , and receive a critique that emphasizes the strengths of the image and how it could be improved. Every January, a competition of the previous year's first place winners is held.
