Happy New Year Everyone

Our competition for 2013 photo of the year is currently scheduled for Tuesday January 7th. Due to the weather insanity that we are experiencing it is difficult to know at this point if the library will be open. Please check on Tuesday to see if it is open. If not we will hold the competition at our next meeting. The phone number to the Southgate Veterans Memorial Library is 734-258-3002.

Remember if you have a print 1st place photo you need to bring it in for it to be placed in the competition.

I will compile all the digital 1st place photos. Pat

I was thinking about this earlier today as I was leaving work noting the temp was -6F with 20 mph winds. Perhaps it would be best if we cancel tomorrow nights meeting for the safety of all concerned. I live close by within a mile of the library, but I would hate the thought of someone having car trouble or some such thing on the way to the meeting on such an inclement night.

Just a thought.

I agree. I think we should cancel today's meeting due to bad weather. If we re-schedule, we might get more people participating.

It looks like the meeting is a go. Make sure you charge your cell phone and throw a blanket in your vehicle,before you leave.
