September 3rd meeting

Hello everyone. I was wondering what you thought of an idea I was kicking around with Karen. Since several of us have pictures on exhibit at the Grind, I thought it would be nice if we had a camera club social there for our next workshop (September). Karen is looking into prices for food and drink at the Grind, and I thought if it wasn't too much, maybe the club could pay for it, if everyone voted that way. It's just an idea, but I think it would be fun and something different. We will talk about it at the meeting Tues and make a decision. I am not sure how much money we have in the account, but we can talk to Harvey. So think about it and let me know your thoughts on Tuesday. See you all there. Claudia

I don't have a problem for paying for my own either, we do it anyway when we go to Arthur's. If memory serves me right they don't have much in the way of food beyond pastries. Not that I have anything against pastries :)

We even talked about going to the Grind instead of Arthur's after the club meeting as another option. I'm not sure how late they are open, but I know my daughter used to go there in the evenings.
